![]() ![]() Terminator: Future Shock (PC): Loved this game when I got it. The limitations of hardware means it looks a bit cartoony, but it duplicates the gameplay wonderfully - including the frustrating escort sections, but take the good with the infuriating. T2: The Arcade Game (Megadrive/Genesis): I loved this game. The attack on Skynet and the Cyberdyne levels are fun. Fun game, but the escort levels can be frustrating. Terminator 2 (Arcade): The first Terminator game I ever played. The driving sections are awkward and the game can be frustrating. Doesn't really give you the feeling you're actually playing a Terminator. ![]() Terminator 2 (Mega Drive): Kind of frustrating. Didn't play much of this one once I had the Megadrive version. The Terminator (Game Gear): Harder to play through, decent game though. Took me a while when I was younger to get through it, especially with the unkillable police. The Terminator (Megadrive/Genesis): Short game but enjoyable. Hard to get the hang of, but an interesting game. ![]() The Terminator (PC): Surprisingly detailed for an early game, even had drivable cars. I haven't played many of the games, but here's my short opinion on the ones I have: It also makes me look forward to Tech Com 2029, if that is ever produced for wide release. It's more linear than it looks and plays like a COD game. Infiltrator mode is also amazing, but limited. It's definitely the most immersive and realistic terminator experience to date. I'm not too sweet on some of the mechanics and I have some nitpicky things with it, but I'm also not super far into it yet. Terminator: Resistance - This is the new kid on the block, and I personally just bought it last week even though it's been out a while. I still think it's a fun game to play and I've beat it with both the Menacer (Sega light gun) and regular controller. They also made it for Super Nintendo, and each version had its quirks. T2: The Arcade Game - I loved the arcade cabinet version and had the Sega Genesis port. The Sega-CD game is almost the same but with improved graphics, sound, music, and level design. The levels, look and feel, and gameplay are all good, and the music is outstanding. It's short, but I think it's really fun and a well done adaptation. The Terminator - Had this one growing up. T2 - I had this one growing up and found it pretty fun to kill time with. But as far as a modern take, it's an NES game, so it's difficult and probably not an attention-grabber for most nowadays. Watching the cutscenes and looking at the level design, it's easy to see that it is a terminator game. What I've played of it so far is pretty good and I'm enjoying it. They redid the branding and released it anyways. Journey to Silius - Sunsoft, known for its quality titles like Batman back in the day, lost the rights to The Terminator right after debuting this game at a conference. I played this as a kid a couple of times and never enjoyed it. Here are the ones I have experience with: George Petro, executive producer for this game, led the development of Terminator 2: Judgment Day arcade game while working at Midway. Most of the terminator games are.less than great. This game borrows Terminator models from the Terminator Salvation home video game but introduces a new Hunter-Killer: the Spider Mine.Super Deluxe: 100" screen with projector and external speakers.Standard: 32" LCD screen with mounted guns (as on Terminator 2: Judgment Day arcade machine).Three different versions of the arcade cabinet exist: T-800 (Only seen on the TV in the control center in Chapter 1-3).The button on the side of the weapon is used to throw grenades. To reload, player presses the bottom of the magazine. The weapon is a customized M4A1 has a magazine of 60 bullets. During some sequences, it is possible to use heavy machine guns mounted on vehicles (helicopter, pickup). He can find grenades, shotguns and miniguns on his way. Player faces whole armies of T-600, T7-T, Aerostats and Moto-Terminators. The purpose of the second mission is to escort refugees to a safehouse and destroy Skynet. The game consists of two selectable missions: objective of the first mission is to seek and destroy the secret lab where Skynet conducts experiments on humans. Player plays the role of John Connor during the war opposing the human resistance to the machines of Skynet. ![]()
